English Way – Ferrol to Santiago (7 days) – GaliWonders

Find your trekking - English way (El Camino Inglés)

Become part of a select group of hikers from all over the world and experience one of the oldest pilgrimages in the world: El Camino de Santiago or the St. James path in English. Dive deep in the Mediterranean culture and walk through the vineyards, dine in little bistros and meet like-minded pilgrims and trekkers on your way. A glass of Rioja is well deserved after a good day of trekking along the Camino.

The Camino Inglés or the Northern way doesn’t start in the UK or England as you might think. This is the traditional hiking route taken by the pilgrims coming from overseas (British Islands and Ireland) and starts in the Spanish port cities A Coruña and Ferrol. You will follow an epic coastal trail into the woodlands and countryside of Northern Galicia. As this is one of the shortest routes, make sure you hike at least 100 KM to be able to receive the official Compostela Pilgrim Certificate. Check all our options on Bookatrekking.com and let’s hike!
