Bookatrekking.com acts solely as an intermediary between you and the trekking company. Bookatrekking.com is not a party to the contract between you as a customer and the supplier and therefore takes no responsibility or liability to you in respect of the terms and conditions of that contract whether directly or indirectly.

Bookatrekking.com is a private company with offices in The Netherlands, Sixmastraat 3, 8932 PA in Leeuwarden. We are registered with the Chamber of Commerce in Utrecht under number 71743650.

These 'Terms and Conditions', together with our 'Privacy Policy', are bound on every part of the Website. Visitors of the Website may use the Website only on condition that they accept the Terms of Use and read and understand the Privacy Policy. Bookatrekking.com may correct, modify, amend, enhance, improve and make any other changes to our website and our services at any time or discontinue displaying or providing any content or features without a notice to you, being a website visitor, a traveler or a trekking company.

The use of the Bookatrekking.com platform can generally be done anonymously. Certain types of use of Bookatrekking.com website, such as the making of bookings, require registration. During registration, the user sends an electronic registration form and consents to the General Terms and Conditions. The registration with Bookatrekking.com is only concluded once a confirmation is sent to the e-mail address specified by the user. A natural person must be over the age of 18 in order to register.

- Once you pay a deposit, your booking is made, you receive a payment confirmation and the availability is checked again. Once your trek is confirmed you will receive a booking confirmation with all trekking and contact details. *Please note: For self-guided walking tours in Europe offered by Bookatrekking.com Trips BV different Booking Conditions apply.

- You have the option of paying the rest of your payment on arrival at your destination. This can be a cash or credit card payment at the office of the operating trekking company. If you choose to pay 100% to Bookatrekking.com we will handle the financials with the operating trekking company. *Please note: For self-guided walking tours in Europe offered by Bookatrekking.com Trips BV different Booking Conditions apply.

- You can change your reservation by contacting our trekking experts to discuss the possibilities. Extra costs for changing the booking might occur.

- You may cancel your trekking reservation free of charge if you notify us at least 14 days prior to the scheduled departure date. If you cancel within 14 days of your start date, you will lose your full booking amount. Please contact us to arrange your cancellation.

- Bookatrekking.com withholds the right to change your booking to an alternative trek as offered by the same local trekking operator.

If you are a Supplier, then the Supplier Agreement applies to you.

The payment of your deposit will reserve your dates. The outstanding amount can be paid directly to the trekking company upon arrival. It’s as easy as that. With some treks, the complete payment (100%) has to be done prior to departure into the bank account of Bookatrekking.com B.V. Before making the booking, please check precisely whether the respective trekking is subject to this payment condition.

If you did not pay for the booked Product or if your credit card is revoked, your claim to receive the Product is canceled. Such an instance shall be regarded as a cancellation and the cancellation policy shall apply. All prices on Bookatrekking.com are quoted per person and include VAT and all other taxes. Local taxes may be charged on site. These prices specified by the Suppliers may be subjected to special conditions, for example with regards to cancellation and the refunding of payments made. Before making the booking, please check precisely whether the respective service agreement is subject to separate conditions.

When you conclude a purchase of a Product offered on Bookatrekking.com, some or all of the data you have provided to Bookatrekking.com will be transmitted to the provider of such Product in order to allow the Supplier to ensure a proper execution of the booked Product. Whenever required by authorities or legal bodies Bookatrekking.com will also provide the requested information for the purpose of complying with the law. Bookatrekking.com hereby reserves the right to transmit such data to third parties, authorities, etc.

Bookatrekking.com does not assume any responsibility for third-party content (including any activities available for booking requests, and information relating to such activities) that may be available on the Website, and for content linked to the Website or which is linked to, from it, or referred to. Bookatrekking.com does not recommend or endorse such content, and will not have any liability relating to it. Where Bookatrekking.com links to third-party websites, your use such websites at your own risk. We recommend reading the policies of these websites and review how these websites may process personally identifiable data relating to you.
