> Climb Ryse (2,501m), the highest peak in Poland
> Discover the breathtaking scenery of the Tatras and sleep in cosy huts
> Enjoy the comfort of accommodation before and after your trek
The High Tatras in northern Slovakia are an absolute dream! They're one of the most rugged mountain ranges in Europe outside the Alps and Pyrenees, with breathtaking natural beauty that will take your breath away. Imagine towering peaks over 2,600 metres high, dense pine forests and sparkling lakes. Although relatively undiscovered outside central Europe, the region has been a popular trekking destination for decades. Mountain huts and strategically placed hotels offer the perfect mix of adventure and comfort.
This 7-day package includes a 5-day hut-to-hut trek through the heart of the Tatras, with two extra nights in hotels before and after the trek for a well-rounded experience. One of the highlights is the ascent of Rysy (2,501m), which marks the border between Slovakia and Poland. It is the highest peak in Poland, with the Slovak side being the starting point for this trip. Ready to cross the Tatras with us?
We will send you on your way with a digital travel guide that includes a route description for the Tatra Mountains, interactive hiking maps, and the most important information applicable to your trek
During your Tatra Mountains, you will spend your nights in mountain huts. In the mountain huts we normally only book dormitories, but we can look into private rooms on request. If the private rooms are fully booked or not available in the hut, we automatically book a bed in dormitories for you. Please note that private rooms are more expensive and there will be an additional charge for this.
Every morning breakfast is waiting for you. We will arrange this for you as well. This allows you to travel lighter and have one less thing to worry about. Bear in mind that lunch and dinner are not included, but it can be purchased in the huts.
Accommodation before and after the trek is included. If possible, we also organize breakfast.
You have to make your own way to the starting point. The total amount does not include personal transport.
Should you need any form of (public) transport on location, this is not part of the trekking package. This includes the use of taxi, bus, cable cars, gondolas etc.
Your international travel insurance is your own responsibility. Discuss your itinerary with the insurance company before your trek.
Personal expenses on such as souvenirs, drinks, and other similar expenses are for your own account.
Breakfast is included in the price of the trek. You can get lunch at the hotels, restaurants on the way or in your accommodation at the end of stage.
