> Hike the wildest section of the Berliner Höhenweg in the Zillertaler Alps > Spend the night in comfortable huts with amazing views > Bookatrekking.com arranges your accommodation before, during and after the trek
Are you ready for a short but challenging hiking adventure? Then the short version of the Berliner Höhenweg should definitely be on your list. This high alpine route leads through the most rugged stretch of the Zillertal Alps. You'll climb two tough mountain passes and with an optional ascent of the 3134 meter high Schönbichler Horn. The terrain is technical in some places with sections of steep trails, snow fields, and rocky terrain. After all the efforts you are rewarded with a hearty local mountain meal in the cosy huts. Hotel accommodation in Mayrhofen before and after is included.
Booking the huts
We will take care of arranging accommodation on the Berliner Höhenweg for you. We will also provide you with a detailed itinerary for every stage and instructions on how to get to the trailhead.
Full travel guide
We will send you on your way with a digital travel guide that includes a route description for the Berliner Höhenweg, interactive hiking maps, and the most important information applicable to your trek
During your Berliner Höhenweg, you will spend your nights in mountain huts. In the mountain huts we normally only book dormitories, but we can look into private rooms on request. If the private rooms are fully booked or not available in the hut, we automatically book a bed in dormitories for you. Please note that private rooms are more expensive and there will be an additional charge for this.
Accommodation at the huts includes dinner and breakfast. We will arrange this for you as well. This allows you to travel lighter and have one less thing to worry about. Bear in mind that lunch is not included, but it can be purchased at the huts. Here you can also buy an array of snacks and bottled water.
Accommodation before and after the tour
Accommodation before and after the trek is included. Breakfast is part of your stay.
