The Cinque Terre Full Experience is a seven-day journey designed to immerse you in the beauty and culture of Italy’s Ligurian coast. Starting in the quiet town of Levanto, just outside Cinque Terre, this route takes you along scenic coastal paths, through terraced vineyards, and into colorful villages perched on cliffs above the sea. From the bustling harbor of Monterosso to the medieval charm of Portovenere, each day reveals new landscapes and experiences, culminating with a peaceful day exploring the natural beauty of Palmaria Island.

This route includes a mix of moderate to challenging sections, with steep climbs and descents that reward you with incredible views. Each evening, unwind in the heart of Cinque Terre’s picturesque villages, where you’ll experience the warm hospitality and authentic flavors of Liguria. This is a journey that captures the essence of Cinque Terre, combining coastal scenery, historic charm, and vibrant Italian culture.

Arrival in Levanto

Arrive in Levanto, a quiet town just outside Cinque Terre, known for its relaxed atmosphere and scenic beach. Spend the day exploring the historic center, strolling along the beach, and preparing for your upcoming adventure. Levanto offers a peaceful start to the journey, with its charming streets, friendly cafés, and a laid-back coastal vibe.

Levanto – Monterosso al Mare

Start your hike in Levanto, following a panoramic path along the coast that offers spectacular views of the sea and coastline. The route winds through forests and along cliffs with dramatic views, gradually leading you to Monterosso al Mare, the largest of the Cinque Terre villages and the only one with a sandy beach. Here, colorful houses and charming cafés welcome you at the end of your day.

Monterosso al Mare – Corniglia

Starting in Monterosso, you’ll follow the scenic Blue Trail along the coast, with stunning sea views. The first section leads to Vernazza, one of Cinque Terre’s most iconic villages, with colorful houses surrounding a small harbor. After a short break, continue to Corniglia, the only village not directly on the sea, perched on a hill among vineyards. Corniglia offers a tranquil atmosphere and sweeping views over the Ligurian Sea.

  • Accommodation

    We will arrange your accommodation on the Cinque Terre in hotels, inns, and guesthouses. Accommodation will be private in single, double or twin rooms and with en-suite bathroom where possible.

  • Full travel guide

    We will send you on your way with a digital travel guide which includes a route description, interactive Cinque Terre hiking maps, and the most important information applicable to your trek.

  • Baggage Transfer

    This trek includes the transfer of your luggage throughout the entire Cinque Terre trek. Your bags will be picked up every morning from the hotel lobby and will be driven to your next next accommodation. Baggage transfers allow you to travel lighter during the day and enjoy the walk in a more relaxed manner.

  • Breakfast

    Breakfast is, if possible, included in this trek and it will be provided every morning at your accommodation.

  • Traveling to and from

    You have to make your own way to the starting point. The total amount does not include personal transport. This also applies to any transport from the end point of your trail.

  • Transfers

    Should you need any form of (public) transport on location, this is not part of the trekking package. This includes the use of taxi, bus, cable cars, gondolas etc.

  • Travel Insurance

    Your international travel insurance is your own responsibility. Discuss your itinerary with the insurance company before your trek.

  • Lunch and Dinner

    Breakfast is, if possible, included in the price of the trek. You can get lunch and dinner at the shops, hotels, and restaurants along the way.
