> Discover the area around Höchkonig
> Features the first part of the Salzburger Almenweg
> Take your dog on an adventure
Around the mountain Hochkönig it is a paradise for hikers in the summer. Hiking through an impressive landscape, resting in cozy mountain huts and enjoying all the regional dishes at dinner: this is what makes this region so attractive. Hike the first part of the Salzburger Almenweg!
During this 4-day walk you walk about 48 kilometers including 2300 altimeters. Highlight of this four-day walk is stage 3 where you reach Schneebergkreuz at 1900 meters. The view here is unforgettable. You stay overnight at the mountain hotel Arthurhaus, the cozy Mittereggalm and a local hotel in Mülbach.
Perhaps the best thing about this tour; your dog can join you, too! We will organize your four-legged friend's stay in the accommodations, but keep in mind that it doesn't stop there. Besides the fact that your dog has to be able to be together with other dogs and children, you also have to bring all your own supplies. With this, we try to help you as much as possible in the travel guide.
We will take care of arranging accommodation on the Salzburger Almenweg for you. We will also provide you with a detailed itinerary for every stage and instructions on how to get to the trailhead.
We will send you on your way with a digital travel guide that includes a route description for the Salzburger Almenweg, interactive hiking maps, and the most important information applicable to your trek
We arrange your accommodation on the Salzburger Almenweg in hotels, hostels or huts along the way. We have selected accommodations on our trek based on the length of each stage and recommendations from hikers who have gone before us on the Salzburger Almenweg.
