Short Trek to Mount Rinjani Summit

For your convenience and security, when you arrive to Lombok Island we will pick you up from the airport, harbours and tourist attractions such as in mataram, senggigi, kuta and others. We will then take you to our office in senaru village so you can register and we can take care of other matters such as payment, directions and your preparation for the trek on the next day. We will then drive you to your hotel room in Senaru which we will arrange for you.

You can visit and enjoy the view of popular and amazing “Sindang Gile ” and “Tiu Kelep ” waterfalls if you arrive in Senaru Village at noon.

You'll awaken at midnight and have a light breakfast at your hotel before we transport you to the starting point at 601m altitude. The nighttime journey to the crater rim is through tropical forest, necessitating the use of headlamps. Following your guide's steps, the walk to the rim takes about 4-5 hours, factoring in breaks. Initially, the trek offers open views and exposes trekkers to a variety of local plants such as coffee and bamboo, before leading into the jungle through the "JEBAG GAWAH" gate. Along the way, there are several stopping points named POS 1 through POS 4, each with its own unique elevation and offering brief rest periods.

Reaching the Senaru Crater Rim just before sunrise, you'll be treated to mesmerizing views of Lake Segara Anak, the active volcano, and distant landmarks like Mount Agung and the Gilis. As the sun casts its first light, your guide will prepare breakfast. Post this serene experience, you'll begin your descent to Senaru, which will take another 4-5 hours, with a light lunch served en route. Upon reaching Senaru village, transportation will be arranged to your subsequent destination.
