Stellisee Loop with Matterhorn Views

Start your hike at Riffelberg and follow the trail past the stunning Riffelsee, where the Matterhorn is reflected in the lake’s surface. Continue climbing to the Gornergrat, where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of over 20 peaks above 4000 meters, including the Monte Rosa massif. Enjoy a meal at the restaurant on top before descending along the scenic Gornergrat railway route back to Riffelberg.

Randa to Europahütte via the Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge

Today’s hike takes you on an unforgettable journey from Randa to the Europahütte. After a 3 km hike with breathtaking views of the Weisshorn, you’ll arrive at the world’s longest suspension bridge, the Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge. Stretching 490 meters across a deep valley, this bridge is is the world’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge. After crossing, you’ll continue to Europahütte, where you can enjoy refreshments while taking in the views of the Weisshorn and Bishorn before returning to Randa.

Zermatt to Täsch with a Stop at Tufteralp

On this one-way hike, you’ll set off from Zermatt towards Täsch. After 3 km, you’ll reach the Tufteralp, a cozy mountain hut where you can stop for food and drinks while enjoying views of the Matterhorn. The trail offers spectacular views of the surrounding peaks and valleys, making it a relaxing yet scenic day hike.

Departure

After breakfast, it’s time to check out of your hotel and say goodbye to the Zermatt region. If time allows, you may choose to take one last stroll through the town and perhaps a visit to the Matterhorn Museum before heading home with unforgettable memories of your alpine adventure.

    We will send you on your way with a digital travel guide which includes a route description, interactive Zermatt Matterhorn Experience hiking maps, and the most important information applicable to your trek.

  • Accommodation before and after the tour

    Accommodation before and after the trek is included. Breakfast is part of your stay.

  • Half board (when possible)

    Your hotel accommodation includes dinner and breakfast unless otherwise stated in your walking guide. This allows you to travel light and stress-free. Please note lunch is not included.

    You have to make your own way to the starting point. The total amount does not include personal transport. This also applies to any transport from the end point of your trail.

    If you require any form of public or local transport during the trek, it is not included in the package unless stated otherwise. This applies to taxis, buses, cable cars, gondolas, and similar services.
