The 3-day Toubkal Summit trek is a thrilling adventure that takes you to the highest peak in North Africa. Starting and ending in the scenic village of Imlil, this guided trek leads you through the stunning Toubkal Valley, past traditional Berber villages, and up to the summit of Mount Toubkal at 4,167 meters. The trek includes comfortable accommodation at the Refuge Toubkal Les Mouflons, where you’ll stay two nights. Along the way, enjoy hearty meals prepared by your support crew and the expertise of a local guide to help you navigate the rugged terrain.
All logistics are taken care of — from the scenic drive from Marrakech to Imlil and back, to meals and accommodation along the trail. Whether you're watching the sunrise from the summit or winding your way through mountain passes, this trek is a perfect blend of challenge and cultural immersion, offering an unforgettable experience in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains.
All necessary transfers (bus, taxi, private transport, etc.) as described in the itinerary are included.
During your trek, you stay in refuges. These are simple in nature but fully equipped. Do not expect too much luxury.
This trek includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
During your trek, you will at all times be accompanied by an English speaking guide.
Enough drinking water will be provided during the trip.
A muleteer will be there to assist with transporting all the necessary equipment, luggage, food, etc.
This trip does not include costs for transportation (flights, bus travel, etc.) to your destination.
In case you are summitting in winter, crampons and an ice axe a reccommended. These are not provided by your trekking company.
You must bring your own sleeping bag with you. You can rent a sleeping bag from your trekking company.
Gratuities for the guide are not covered by the trek's price. The amount to tip is at your discretion, yet if you've received excellent service from your guide, considering a generous tip is appreciated.
Your international travel insurance is your own responsibility. It is important that your travel insurance also covers adventures at a high altitude. Discuss your itinerary with the insurance company before your trek.
Before and after the trek you have to take care of your own accommodation.
Personal expenses such as souvenirs, drinks at the bar and other similar expenses are your own responsibility.
