After meeting your support team, you'll begin your trek through the stunning Toubkal Valley, passing traditional Berber villages and terraced fields. Stop for a well-earned lunch before continuing your steady climb toward the refuge, where you’ll spend the night. Relax with a hearty dinner, chat with fellow trekkers, and rest up; tomorrow's summit attempt is just around the corner!

Stage 5: From Refuge Toubkal Les Mouflons to Toubkal Summit and Back to the Refuge

The day starts before dawn, under a sky full of stars. Boots on, headlamp ready, and you’re off for the final ascent. The trail is tough, steep and rocky, but as the horizon starts to glow, you know it’s worth it. Reaching the summit at 4,167 meters, you’ll be greeted by a sunrise over the Atlas Mountains that will stay with you forever. After soaking it all in, it’s time to head back down to Refuge Les Mouflons. A warm meal, good company, and the satisfaction of conquering North Africa’s highest peak await.

Stage 3: From Refuge Toubkal Les Mouflons to Imlil

After a good night’s rest, it’s time to head back down. The trail leads you through the familiar Berber villages and lush valleys, with the peaks of Toubkal fading behind. By lunchtime, you’ll be back in Imlil, where it all began. From there, a drive will take you back to Marrakech, where your Toubkal adventure will come to an end.

    This trek includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

  • Transfers

    All necessary transfers (bus, taxi, private transport, etc.) as described in the itinerary are included.

  • Accommodation in refuges

    During your trek, you stay in refuges. These are simple in nature but fully equipped. Do not expect too much luxury.

  • Professional guide

    During your trek, you will at all times be accompanied by an English speaking guide.

  • Water

    Enough drinking water will be provided during the trip.

  • Muleteer for luggage transport

    A muleteer will be there to assist with transporting all the necessary equipment, luggage, food, etc.

  • Traveling to and from

    This trip does not include costs for transportation (flights, bus travel, etc.) to your destination.

  • Personal expenses

    Personal expenses such as souvenirs, drinks at the bar and other similar expenses are your own responsibility.

  • Crampons and Ice Axe

    In case you are summitting in winter, crampons and an ice axe a reccommended. These are not provided by your trekking company.

  • Sleeping bag

    You must bring your own sleeping bag with you. You can rent a sleeping bag from your trekking company.

  • Tipping

    Gratuities for the guide are not covered by the trek's price. The amount to tip is at your discretion, yet if you've received excellent service from your guide, considering a generous tip is appreciated.

  • Travel Insurance

    Your international travel insurance is your own responsibility. It is important that your travel insurance also covers adventures at a high altitude. Discuss your itinerary with the insurance company before your trek.

  • Accommodation before and after the trek

    Before and after the trek you have to take care of your own accommodation.
