This special blog is finally here, where we've gathered some of your favorite memories. We've received hundreds (if not thousands) of your photos, and believe me, it's been quite challenging to decide which ones to share with you in this post. In this blog, you'll find the best of the best, a mix of the finest views captured by our hikers, their favorite spots to rest (and enjoy a well-deserved cold beer), the obstacles they've overcome on the journey, the shelters where they've slept comfortably at night, how the route looks in different seasons, and much more. That's coming from me, writing this from the offices of Bookatrekking.com (and even though it's very nice here), what I wouldn't give for a getaway to the Balkans or an adventure in the Chilean Patagonia or an expedition in Nepal or an ascent to the roof of Africa... The beauty of the Stubaier Höhenweg is that it doesn't have to be hiked all at once. It can, of course, be tackled in stages. The unique feature of the Stubaier Höhenweg is that there are ascent and descent options to and from each hut. With a good network of public buses, you can easily reach the ascents to the huts on the high-altitude trail. After the descent, you can effortlessly return to the starting point using public transportation. This makes the Stubaier Höhenweg suitable not only for mountain goats but also for families with young goats.

Whether you want to go mountain biking, climb a via ferrata, or do a multi-day mountain hike, the Wilder Kaiser Mountains have it all. With as many as 400 km (248,5 miles) of hiking trails, the 65 km-long (40,4 miles) Kaiserkrone circles this mountain range. Also known as one of the most beautiful multi-day hikes in Tyrol, this tour introduces you to long distances in the mountains. If you are in good shape and feel like being on the trail all day, read on. The popular mountain range, by locals referred to as "Koasa", towers over the region as a true emperor. That you can go there for any mountain sport was already clear but because the mountain massif is only a few kilometers/miles below the German-Austrian border, it is also very easy to reach. The Kaiserkrone is by far the best known and most popular hike, or in other words, THE hut-to-hut hike through the Wilder Kaiser. You will sleep in mountain huts, as well as mountain hotels and guesthouses during this trek. So, combined with the distances and altimeters, the Kaiserkrone is an experience not to be missed.
