Find Mount Rinjani Summit Trek Hiking & Trekking Trips

It took a while before the hiking trail to the summit of Mount Rinjani was reopened. The Earthquake of 2018 did a lot of damage but from June 2019 onwards trekkers can once again enjoy some the best views of Indonesia. From the Summit of Mount Rinjani, you can see as far as Bali to the west and Sumbawa to the east. These Summit Treks start from Sembalun. Together with Senaru, this is one of the gateways for a trek up to the peak of Gurung Rinjani. You can get to Sembalun by bus, by car or you can rent a scooter and ride there yourself. It is, however, very likely that you will be picked up by your trekking company. Once in Sembalun, you will fall in love with beautiful waterfalls, rice- and strawberry field, apple thee gardens and of course Mount Rinjani. Are you ready for the summit?
