The Escapardenne Trail consists of two of the ‘Leading Quality Trails - Best of Europe’ and runs in both Luxembourg and Belgium: you are literally crossing the border with these hikes. The full route is 159 kilometers long, and guides you from Ettelbruck in Luxembourg, to La Roche-en-Ardenne in Belgium, where history is told vividly, but where you will also be surrounded by rocky cliffs, quiet river valleys, and definitely some altimeters. It is even possible to cross a via ferrata here.
The Escapardenne Trail is divided into 8 stages, the first part belonging to the Lee Trail. This trail is only 53 kilometers long and can be hiked in 3 days. The remaining 106 kilometers belong to the Eislek Trail, which can be hiked in 5 days.
